My pal runs a fruit and veg stall, no issues with supply at all.
The issue is supermarkets buy from certain sources at a very cheap (lower product) supply chain, to make bigger profits.
If they wanted to pay a bit more, they could get anything they wanted.

Yes Snide I preferred Harry Redknapp and Ron Greenwood as manager. Sorry that offends you but what are you trying to prove?
To me Lyall took over Greenwood's team when I wanted Ron to stay. He also had loads of money (for the time) to buy key players but still relegated us twice. Today he's be long gone.
I much preferred my time supporting home and away under Harry. Always a laugh.

I actually said at that time (1970’s) I lived in Hemel Hempstead and read more about Watford’s Ken Furphy than Lyall in the pre internet era. Watford we’re 3rd division at the time.
